Every seat tells a story.

On any Sunday at Cornerstone there are Moms and Dads, business owners and day job workers, professionals and homeless people, all sitting in the seats of Cornerstone.

There are university students and young couples, people dealing with addictions, as well as those who have overcome.  Single parents, high school students, people from every economic level, people of different races, different ethnicities all find seats at Cornerstone.

And every seat tells a story.

It’s time to build.  To make room for more seats.   And more stories.

Because in those seats people encounter God.  They find direction and encouragement.  And each seat is a place from which to cry out to God.

Stories of healing. Stories of new beginnings. Stories of redemption and grace.

Our new church will create more seats for more people so that our church will experience more stories of God’s miraculous and life-changing work. We are building the legacy—the story—of this church, and it will take all of us working together to make it a reality. Your prayers and financial support are needed.

We are surprised by what God has provided: fifty-four beautiful acres just 2 miles east of our current campus. Our new property is across the street from Super Wal-Mart and next to the newest recreational complex in Athens.

Phase One of this project will include a 45,000 square foot facility with a beautiful multipurpose building which will serve as our worship center, along with a state of the art pre-school facility, children’s worship center, a youth worship center, and various gathering spaces for ministry.
