The first Wednesday of the month is always one of the best days of the month! Join us for a powerful evening including worship, the word, and special moments of prayer. We believe this is the best way to kick off the month. It all starts at 7 PM!

Winterfest Conference

Our annual trip to Pigeon Forge, TN is BACK! It's the greatest weekend of spiritual growth & fun for all of our Teenagers. Not only will you have fun in the cabins & explore Pigeon Forge, but you will hear some of the best speakers & worship bands in the entire world lead a conference of 12,000 young people into the presence of God. Its a life changing weekend that we want you to experience.

New Believer Sunday

Given your heart to Jesus and made the decision to follow him? We want to partner with you and connect you to resources you need to make your walk strong! Join us for a lunch, meet pastors and be inspired!

Kids Baptism Class

Our Kids Baptism class is the next step for your child who has expressed interest in taking the next step in their faith by being baptized. This step must be completed in order for your child to participate in baptism and a parent or guardian is required to participate with their student. Newcomer's Pizza With The Pastor

Lead A Group

Child Dedication

We are excited and honored to have the opportunity to dedicate your child to the Lord. Child dedication is not a replacement for water baptism, as that will be a personal decision made by your child later in their life. We know that God loves all His children. Child dedication was modeled for us in the Bible as Jesus was brought to the temple by His parents to be dedicated to the Lord. At Cornerstone we love that we get to partner with parents as they spiritually lead their kids on this journey.

Sisters In Christ Retreat

Sisters in Christ host 5 retreats - March-July.  These monthly retreats are limited to 12 women at each. Maybe you are stressed, anxious or just so busy.  Come to the retreat to relax for 24 hours as the team pours into you about sitting at the feet of Jesus. Fill out this form as an application to prepare for this amazing weekend!

Sunday Jail Ministry Dream Team

Cornerstone's Sunday morning Jail service at the Clarke county jail is beginning in mid October.  If you're interested in joining the team that watches our first service with inmates at the jail along with a Pastor, complete the information below and upload your driver's license. The Clarke Country application to serve will be emailed to the address you provide below. Please complete the application and return to info@cornerstoneathens.cc or drop by the church for Pastor Steve Stringham.

Lead A Small Group

Small groups are an important way to grow in your spiritual life and build community at Cornerstone.   Please consider leading a group this Fall, maybe a women's or men's group, a group for couples or singles or young adults, with a specific topic or book study:  weekly or monthly, at a time or location of your choice.  Go to events and go to lead-a-group. We'll provide support to make your group a success!

First Wednesday Family Dinner

This partnership between Cornerstone Youth and Traditions BBQ Catering was created to assist in funding for our youth, who may need partial or full assistance to participate in things such as camps or other off campus activities. A different boxed carry-out meal will be available for purchase before every First Wednesday service of each month. 100 percent of donations as well as a portion of each sale will go directly to Cornerstone Youth for assistance as needed.  Adult meals are $12 and Kids' Meals are $6! Meals will start at 5:00 PM and continue up until 6:30!

Dream Team Serving Opportunities

We believe every person has a God given purpose. At Cornerstone we want to create opportunities for you to serve others fulfilling that God given purpose in your life. If you are new to Cornerstone or have been attending for a while there are always opportunities to connect and use your talents for God. Please complete this registration and a staff member will be in touch this week. 

Men of Action

Cornerstone’s outreach ministry working with our Men’s ministry is beginning a new outreach called Men of Action.  We’ll be focusing on the needy in our church family and our community around us, including ramps, outside cleanup and other jobs.  Many different skills could be used depending on the project; commitment times and days will vary.  It could even involve helping with short term disaster relief and missions trips.  

Cornerstone Internship

Are you ready for an experience that will equip you to fulfill your God Given potential now and in your future? Our strategy is to create a successful experience through hands-on discipleship, leadership, team-building skills, and exposure to the ministries within Cornerstone. At the end of this internship, we want you to have increased your knowledge of God's Word and discovered and developed your calling. You will engage in rotations throughout the different ministries at the church, learning about and working within these various ministries. The internship lasts one year, and working will be a minimum of 10 hours weekly, including weekdays and Sundays.
